2012 Curry Stone Design Prize Winner

As stated in the Curry Stone Design Prize website (currystonedesignprize.com), “the Curry Stone Design Prize aspires to:

– support the influence and reach of design as a critical force for improving lives and strengthening communities
– make the talents of visionary designers available to broader segments of society
– inspire the next generation of designers to harness their ingenuity and craft for social good”

This prize awards social design pioneers. It is an honour for Illac Diaz, Executive Director of MyShelter Foundation to have been nominated for his work with the Liter of Light movement and consequently become winners of this award. Thank you to those that continue to believe in the project.
